Premium Design & Build
The NIKKOR Z DX MC 35mm f/1.7 is built for portability and daily use, measuring approximately 70 mm x 72 mm (diameter x length) and weighing about 220 g. Its compact Z-mount design balances beautifully on Nikon’s DX mirrorless bodies, making it easy to carry for travel, street shooting, and close-up creativity. The lens uses an internal focusing design (IF), helping maintain stable handling while focusing.
Brilliant Display
Enjoy precise composition and beautiful subject isolation with a natural field of view that’s equivalent to 52.5 mm on full-frame (FX). The fast f/1.7 aperture helps you shoot in low light and create smooth background blur (bokeh), making everyday scenes look more cinematic and premium.
Professional Camera System
Capture fine detail up close with the NIKKOR Z DX MC 35mm f/1.7, offering a maximum reproduction ratio of 0.67x (life-size equivalent on full-frame) and a short minimum focus distance of 0.16 m. This makes it excellent for macro-style shots of jewellery, textures, small products, plants, and food, while still functioning as a versatile everyday prime for portraits and snapshots.
Powerful Performance
Built for both photo and video, the NIKKOR Z DX MC 35mm f/1.7 uses a quiet stepping motor (STM) for smooth, accurate autofocus with reduced operational noise. The clickless control ring can be customised on compatible Nikon Z cameras for key settings such as focus, aperture, exposure compensation, or ISO — making it especially useful for video creators and hybrid shooters.
Battery Life & Charging
The NIKKOR Z DX MC 35mm f/1.7 requires no battery or charging — it draws the necessary power directly from your Nikon Z camera body. Its lightweight build helps keep your kit comfortable for long shoots, whether you’re creating close-up product content or capturing everyday moments.
Available Colors
The Nikon NIKKOR Z DX MC 35mm f/1.7 is available in a classic, professional finish: Black.
Smart Features & Connectivity
The NIKKOR Z DX MC 35mm f/1.7 is designed for Nikon Z-mount DX cameras and supports modern creator workflows with internal focusing, a customisable control ring, and compatibility with standard screw-in filters via a 52mm filter thread. It’s a strong everyday choice for content creation, portraits, still life, and macro-style detail shots.
