Premium Design & Build
The Sigma 24-35mm f/2 DG HSM Art Lens for Nikon F combines professional construction with the refined design associated with Sigma's Art series. Sigma lists dimensions of approximately 87.6 mm in diameter and 122.7 mm in length, with a weight of approximately 940 g based on its published specifications. The substantial construction complements full-frame DSLR bodies, while the large 82 mm filter thread accommodates a wide range of photographic filters. Supplied accessories include a case, LH876-03 lens hood, 82 mm front cap and rear lens cap.
Versatile Wide-Angle Zoom Range
Cover several popular wide-angle focal lengths with the Sigma 24-35mm f/2 DG HSM Art Lens for Nikon F. Its 24-35mm zoom range gives photographers greater compositional freedom for landscapes, architecture, interiors, environmental portraits, events and street photography. Sigma introduced the 24-35mm F2 DG HSM Art as the world's first large-aperture full-frame wide-angle zoom lens offering F2 throughout the zoom range, giving photographers the convenience of multiple wide-angle perspectives without constantly changing prime lenses.
Professional Optical Performance
Capture detailed, high-quality images with the Sigma 24-35mm f/2 DG HSM Art Lens for Nikon F's sophisticated optical construction. The lens features 18 elements arranged in 13 groups and incorporates specialised FLD, SLD and aspherical glass elements. This advanced optical design is engineered to control optical aberrations while delivering the high-resolution performance expected from Sigma's Art series. Its full-frame angle of view extends from 84.1° at 24mm to 63.4° at 35mm.
Powerful F2 Aperture
The defining feature of the Sigma 24-35mm F2 DG HSM Art Nikon F is its bright constant F2 maximum aperture throughout the complete zoom range. Photographers can zoom between 24mm and 35mm while retaining the same maximum aperture, making exposure management easier and providing excellent flexibility in available-light conditions. The large aperture also enables greater control over depth of field and subject separation, while the 9-blade rounded diaphragm helps produce smooth, attractive out-of-focus areas. The minimum aperture is F16.
Powerful Autofocus Performance
The Sigma 24-35mm f/2 DG HSM Art Lens for Nikon F incorporates Sigma's HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) autofocus technology for responsive focusing performance. This complements the lens's bright F2 aperture and flexible wide-angle range, making it suitable for spontaneous photography, events, environmental portraits and other situations where accurate focusing is important. Manual focus adjustment provides additional creative control when photographers need to fine-tune focus precisely.
Close-Focusing Capability
The Sigma 24-35mm F2 Art Nikon F offers a minimum focusing distance of just 28 cm, enabling photographers to move relatively close to subjects while maintaining a distinctive wide-angle perspective. A maximum magnification ratio of 1:4.4 further expands its versatility for photographing details, products, food and environmental close-ups. This capability makes the lens useful well beyond conventional landscape and architectural applications.
Smart Features & Compatibility
The Sigma 24-35mm Nikon F is a DG full-frame lens designed for Nikon F-mount DSLR cameras. Sigma also released Nikon F-mount firmware for this model through SIGMA Optimization Pro, including an update addressing operation when the lens is used with a Nikon Z7 and Nikon Mount Adapter FTZ. This provides additional flexibility for photographers who may use compatible Nikon F lenses on selected Nikon Z mirrorless bodies via an appropriate adapter. Camera and adapter compatibility should always be confirmed before purchase.
